Kyle Douglas Releases Powerful Music Video For “Clean Hands”
The autobiographical title track from his debut EP
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (09/23/15) – Kyle Douglas is pleased to announce the worldwide release of his new music video “Clean Hands.”
The catchy song is written from Douglas’ personal experiences and uses the natural rawness and honesty of his vocals to inspire the listener and create the positive feeling of being able to overcome the past and move forward to a brighter future.
The same ideas and symbolism are captured in the accompanying music video.
The video is directed by AmericusTrue and shot on location in Kentucky at Natural Bridge State Resort Park Red River Gorge and at Americus Studios.
Douglas’ performances, both on stage and inside of an empty church, are spliced together with the powerful story of the lyric as it focuses on a man letting his past go in order to move on from it.
Vivid illustrations such as an alcohol bottle drifting away from him in the waters of the creek, and the literal burying of his past memories and mementos, offers the viewers the visualization of him coming to grips with the fact that his demons no longer have a hold on him and he is set free of them through the grace of God.
The autobiographical “Clean Hands” is the title track from his 2014 nation-wide debut EP.
The EP, produced by two-time Grammy Award Winner Rebecca Lynn Howard and Elisha Hoffman, captures his mainstream country sound while allowing space for crossover appeal to rock, pop, and Contemporary Christian markets.
“My goal,” explains Kyle, “Is to put out music that touches people and can change someone’s day.”
